Actually, McGuinty did listen to Howard Hampton and the Ontario NDP, who have been calling for an end to ALL religious based arbitration in the Ontario justice system, including longstanding ones by Christians and Jews as well as Muslims.

I never agreed with Marion Boyd on this, but that's ok, because believe it or not, we Dippers are not all automotons that follow automatically and without question what our leaders say. If you check out Greg at Sinister Thoughts, and a few other Dipper sites, you'll see they never agreed with Boyd either.

This is actually one time when I will applaud Dalton for doing the right thing, and I think most Dipper's would.

Thank's for once again demonstrating your faulty logic jeff.

Yes jeff you are confused. We've noticed this for a while.

You stated that it was a good thing McGuinty didn't listen to this "dipshit dipper", implying that all dippers were "dipshits" and agreed with Marion Boyd. By using the phrase "dipshit dipper" instead of just "dipshit", you try to use this as a smear against the NDP.

I conveniently pointed out that her belief in this and her being a former NDP Cabinet Minister were not related. In fact, the leader of the Ontario NDP and the Ontario NDP policy state exactly the opposite of Ms. Boyd on this - and you actually agree with the NDP policy, not Marion Boyd. I also pointed to a great many "dippers" including myself that did not agree.

Meaning of course that Marion Boyd being a dipshit in this particular case had nothing to do with her being a dipper.

Of course, you wanted to make that connection - otherwise why would you have taken the time to post this tidbit here, in a thread about NDP fundraising not having anything whatsoever to do with Sharia law in Ontario?

That my boy is called "Guilt by association" and it used faulty deductive logic - generalizing the whole based on a single instance.

And it is a logical fallacy in debate and arguement.

Try your smear tatics elsewhere.

Anonalogue,

If you don't think thats what old jeffy was implying, you are a fool - I mean, if only because it is a totally off-topic comment for this blog entry.

You see Anon, I am well aware of jeff and his posting history, with me at this blog and at other blogs. I take that history into account when I choose to answer. I also choose to stop answering people when they post off-topic trash in an obvious attempt to troll.

Now you think about that for a moment.

If you want people to take you seriously and stop thinking you are a troll, stop acting like one. I know you can do it, because I've seen you do it. I 've actually agreed with you on occasion.

As a matter of fact, Anonalogue, I do, as does the entire NDP Riding Association of Nepean Carleton. This is a non-partisan issue. Any money that be saved and diverted to patient care instead of being paid to rent to the freakin' NCC is a good idea in my books no matter who said it. We see this as another opportunity to re-invest in public, universal healthcare. In case you didn't know, Ed Broadbent has been the leader in various committees in Parliament to get rid of the NCC altogether.

Just so you know, Pierre approached us for support on this about 3 months ago and we agreed then.

I also think he did a hell of a job at the Manotick Legion Fund Raiser in July as well (I attended and showed my support as did Laurel Gibbons, our Candidate, and the rest of the Riding Association). I will give credit where credit is due.

Of course, he's done a lot of other things I think are divisive and opportunistic and apart from these two, non-partisan events, I don't agree with his politics of policies. its good to se him get something right, although even a broken clock is right twice a day.

;)

Canada's most dangerous blog? Hilarious.

Really, I think you've grown quite dellusional. Everyone knows the most dangerous blog out there is SDA. Not because Kate is a twenty-first century crossbreed of Marie-Antoinette and Lizzy Borden, but because anyone with the charisma and persuation to accumulate that many followers and minions is bound to eventually seize power.

Would it help if I informed you that those stains were caused by me indoctrinating Stock to La Rive Gauche? ;)
